Smart TV
Main advantage of Smart TV devices is the presence of an operating system that allows installation of other applications that infinitely extend the use of television device. Smart TV application offers to users access to the content provided independently and extends the spectrum of customers. Unlike HbbTV, applications are tailored to individual devices for allowing increased application speed and using more complex graphics components or advanced security protocols and systems. For most major video content providers, Smart TV applications are the most important platform with millions of accesses per day. Applications such as HBO GO, YouTube or Netflix are standard component of nowadays TVs.
